POCATELLO — During the Bannock County Republican Central Committee reorganization meeting held in May, Char Tovey was reelected as the chairman of the party. Tovey is very honored to be elected as chairman again, given the contentious primary races. Tovey knows it will be a momentous task uniting Pocatello Republicans. She welcomes those from all walks of life with conservative values and a desire to defeat the Democrats in the fall to get involved with the party.

South East Idaho Republican Women is hosting a presentation with American Falls Clerk Sharee Sprague as the guest speaker. “How Levies Affect Your Taxes!” This event will be June 15 at noon and will be held at Assemble’ Event Center, 820 E. Young Ave. in Pocatello. This is a great way to find out how to understand your tax bill. This event is open to the public.
