The Bannock County Commissioners would like to remind all Board of Equalization appellants of their due process rights.

For those appellants that received a Notice of Action letter at the conclusion of the Board of Equalization, if you disagree with the decision indicated in the letter, your next step for appeal is the State Board of Tax Appeals or to the District Court pursuant to the Idaho Code §63-511.

All appeals must be received by the County Clerk, Jason Dixon (Bannock County Courthouse, 624 E. Center St., Room 211, Pocatello, Idaho), within 30 consecutive days of the postmarked date of the Notice of Action letter.

Appeal forms for the State Board of Tax Appeals can be found at bannockcounty.us/bta-appeals. Notice of Action letters were sent between Aug. 5 and Aug. 9 being due between Sept. 4 and Sept. 9. If you have any questions regarding the process or the due date of your appeal, please contact the Clerk’s Office at (208) 236-7358 or the Commission Office at 208-236-7210.
