POCATELLO — On Sunday, Sept. 8, Unitarian Universalists welcome all to this annual ingathering. We note the passing summer as we embrace the coming seasons of learning, meaning-making and connection with each other and our wider community. This and all Pocatello Unitarian Universalist Sunday gatherings begin at 9:30am and run about an hour. In-person at the UU Meeting House (426 W Lewis) or online via Zoom (https://tinyurl.com/55a5xahe).

Unitarian Universalists honor and celebrate people for our differences and our common ground. The annual Ingathering features a water ceremony, as its life-giving properties symbolize so much of the human experience. All friends are invited to consider what water has meant to them. We pour water into a communal bowl and share our stories.

Whether you have been a long-time member and familiar friend of the UUs, are seeking an inclusive community to join, or would enjoy the opportunity to meet new people, you are welcome and wanted just as you are. Rev. Jenny Peek facilitates the program this year, with many voices participating.

Pocatello Unitarian Universalist Fellowship has a Share the Plate program. This is a free-will offering collected and given to designated recipient organizations from the wider community. This September, the offering will support Idaho Food Bank.
