Jolee Pierre-Jacques

POCATELLO — To 9-year-old Jolee Pierre-Jacques, family is very important.

So much so, that even though she lives in California, she chose to be baptized at Pocatello’s Bethel Missionary Baptist Church because of her family connection here.

Therefore, on July 7, Jolee was baptized by her grandfather, Bethel’s Deacon Aaron LeVels, in the presence of her parents, other family members from California and Bethel’s congregation.

Bethels’ pastor, William Beard, felt that Deacon LeVels should be the baptizer.

It was a blessed time for young Jolee and all who were present.
