POCATELLO — Join us for the Christmas musical "Room for Christmas" by Mark Burrows, presented by the children’s choir at First Presbyterian Church. The program will be presented Sunday at 4 p.m. at 202 S. Seventh Ave.

The Youth Chime Choir will also present arrangements of “Silent Night” and “Angels We Have Heard on High” arranged by director Joyce Weaver.

Both groups are composed of children from various churches in the community.

Those who attend are invited to bring a new unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. There will be an opportunity during the musical to place the toys at the manger.

In "Room for Christmas," the children come to the final rehearsal for their Christmas pageant to discover that the director is ill and no one has learned their lines. They want to freshen up the Christmas story and decide to incorporate a toy drive in the program. In the end, they discover it's not about making the story new, but about inviting Christ to make our hearts new.
