POCATELLO — The Portneuf River Back Country Horsemen Chapter will be hosting its annual dinner and auction on Feb. 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the conference room of the Fish and Game Building, 1345 Barton Road in Pocatello.

The chapter will provide the main course, and members are encouraged to bring a salad, dessert or vegetable dish to share. Live music by Roy McKee. Come enjoy the comradery with other local horse enthusiasts. This is an opportunity for members to renew their 2024 membership and for new members to join.

A silent auction (with lots of horse and Western items) will be held to benefit the chapter’s work in promoting trail riding, performing trail maintenance/clearing, leading monthly trail rides and providing horsemanship education. The chapter meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Fish and Game Building, 1345 Barton Road. No regular meeting in February, just the dinner.
