So many people have gone out of their way to provide "History from way back when." I honor those who have served in whatever way to photograph or have been a part of the work to provide our news, including mail carriers. If it wasn't for them, we would be in the dark. 

Boys and girls and families are worth their weight in gold. They have been around for years and years — remember "Extra! Extra! Read all about it!" I honor all those who have walked or stood out in all kinds of weather delivering mail or newspapers. I have witnessed. They deserve our praise and thanks for serving us so valiantly. 

They are history from way back when before our time, at least some of us — they arise early and are out on the street or running around the neighborhood delivering our news of the day for very little pay whatever the weather or conditions — "Hey I'll take one of those." History in the making ... they have to go and pick them up right off the bat from those who are out recording history or having letters set ready to print what history that has been obtained through those who are out there recording history in the making as they see it. 

The papers then need to be folded and prepared to be delivered. It is a time-consuming job, but no matter the time or the weather, they are out there delivering. I personally honor them having taken over and done for our children in times of need — the weather or time — the news was delivered. They start delivering our papers before most people are not even out of bed yet. Sometimes, they ran into poverty and sickness themselves — dangerous weather — disasters, etc. We received news one way or another. A huge thank you to those who serve for us to always know what is going on in the world around us. I honor them and those who have been there and provided us with world shattering news facing all kinds of dilemma and weddings, newborn and deaths, etc. We owe them for their devoted service given with heart. 

From out of the dust cometh wisdom. You can't hide from the news.
