Semi crash on Interstate 15

POCATELLO — A tractor-trailer has overturned on Interstate 15 in south Pocatello.

The crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. Saturday on the interstate's northbound lanes and the overturned semi is currently blocking one northbound lane of the interstate.

Northbound traffic is backing up on the interstate because of the crash and motorists should avoid the area.

Reports indicate that the semi driver, whose name has not been released, was not seriously injured in the wreck. 

Idaho State Police are expected to release more information soon on the crash, so stay with idahostatejournal.com for updates.
