Robbery Suspects

POCATELLO — No arrests have been made with regards to the Maverick Country Store robbery and store clerk beating that occurred Sunday at 855 E. Alameda Rd., according to officials.

Pocatello Police Department officers are still looking for two men who entered into the Maverick Country Store and ordered the clerk to give them money.

One of the adult suspects reportedly acted as if he had a weapon and proceeded to batter the store clerk.

Authorities say the two took several cartons and packs of cigarettes, hats and lottery tickets. They left the store on foot, heading southwest in the direction of Randolph Avenue.

One of the two men was wearing a blue bandana over his nose and a mouth and a black hooded sweatshirt over his head. The other wore a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head. His face was uncovered, and he was wearing a black sweatshirt over the top of the red hooded sweatshirt.

The suspects have been identified as being Hispanic.

Anyone with information is urged to make contact with the PPD dispatch center by dialing 208-234-6100.
