Rudolfo Morales Molina

    POCATELLO — A Pocatello man was arrested and charged with aggravated battery early Thursday evening after police responded to a report of a male subject with a knife in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 340  South Arthur Ave. in Pocatello.

    According to police, officers responded just before midnight in reference to a suicidal subject who had been stabbing himself. The subject, Rudolfo Morales Molina, had a knife to his chest and had threatened officers.

       Police at the scene said Molina refused to put down the knife and was subsequently subdued by officers using bean bag rounds and a Taser. He was taken into custody and is being charged with aggravated assault. He had stabbed himself several times.

    He was also arrested for being a fugitive from justice because he had two outstanding warrants out of Washington.
