JUNIPER — Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred at 7:10pm on April 14, 2025, on westbound I-84 near milepost 265 south of Juniper in Oneida County.

A red 1997 Ford Explorer driven by a 21-year-old man from Clarkston, WA was travelling westbound on I-84 when the left rear tire separated, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, and roll into the median where it came to a stop.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was not transported by ambulance. The passenger, a 21-year-old man from Lewiston, ID was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. He was wearing a seatbelt.

The incident is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
