POCATELLO — Please join the Happy Hands Quilt Club members for their July meeting to be held in the basement of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, located at 215 N. 18th Ave. in Pocatello. Members and guests will gather at 9:30 a.m. July 12. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m.

The club’s business meeting will include show and tell, awards to those finishing their UFO challenge projects, a demo and opportunity to make a cool tie neck cooler for our hot summer days, and an opportunity to check out books from the club’s library.

J’neane Smith will be demonstrating the process of making the neck coolers and providing the polymers granules that are inserted inside to make them work using evaporative cooling. Attendees may bring their own fabric 6-inches by 40-inches, sewing machine and sewing notions if they wish to make their own neck cooler after the demo and at the end of the meeting.

The July 26 Sew Day will be held at All Stars Sages Creek Quilt Shop located in the West Wood Mall at 1800 Garrett Way, Suite 29 in Pocatello from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring something to work on or just come and visit.
