The league selected the junior as its co-player of the week along with Montana junior Anthony Johnson.

In Thursday's 78-69 win over the defending champion Vikings, Morgan scored 13 points, recorded six assists and had two rebounds for the Bengals.

He followed up that effort with 19 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and a steal in Idaho State's 75-70 win over the Eagles on Saturday.

Morgan excelled even though his father died earlier in the week after a struggle with cancer.

It's the second time this season Morgan has earned the player of the week honors from the league and the third time in his career.

Johnson scored 24 points in each of the Grizzlies' two wins during the week. It's his fourth player of the week selection this season.
