The Senior Men’s League played at Highland Golf Course Monday, May 20, with Ron George winning the Regular Division with a score of 67.

    Tom Hofland, Cliff Merrill and Terry Williams all tied for second with matching 68’s. Lonnie Nelson was fifth with a 69 while Dennis Shipley was closest to the pin.

    In the Super Senior Division, Peter Behrendt, Phil Gibson and Leon Lish tied for first after all three shot a 65. Doug Power was fourth with a 67 while Arley Lish took sixth after winning a scorecard playoff. He shot a 68. Dale Larsen was closest to the pin.

Snake River Seniors

    The Snake River Seniors played a Chicago-style event at Highland Golf Course Wednesday, with Robbie Robertson claiming the Regular Division title with a +6.

    DuWayne Walker (+3) was second, Lonnie Nelson and Mark Sierra (+2) third, Teddy Johnson and Richard Mendez (+1) fifth, Tom Hofland (-1) seventh and Ron Eaton and Dave Lewis (-2) eighth. Johnson was closest to the pin.

    The Super Senior Division was won by Bill Martin, who shot a +7.

    Doug Lower (+3) was second, Ned Anderson and Dan Wellard (+2) were third while Lamar Hagar, Larry Murphy and Larry Watt (+1) were fifth. Vic Erickson was closest to the pin.

    Highlan Golf Course was first in the team scores with a +14, Pinecrest second with a +5 and Blackfoot was third with -6.

High-River Ladies

    The High -River Ladies played Aces Wild last Tuesday at Highland. Diane Simpson won the first flight and Evelyn Willmore the second.

    On Thursday the ladies played Yellow Ball, with the team of Beckie Dunn, Patty Friedel Evelyn Willmore and Dolly Morrison winning.

Couples League

    The Couples League played Couples Scramble at Highland with Junior Wayas and Ruth Draayer claiming the first flight with a score of 30.

    There was a four-way tie for second, each team shooting a 32. The teams were Rick and Danielle Mabey, Tom Harrison and Larraine Cook, Matt Kinze and Jen Durham and Scott and Edie Richardson.

    The second flight was won by the team of Marc and Karen Barron with a 29. John and Tonya Bolliger took second with a 30 while Robert Cottrell and Kathy Strachan were third with a 31.

    Pat Owens was closes to the pin for the men while Sharla Jolley earned the honor for the women.
