POCATELLO - In the midst of a difficult stretch of its schedule, the Highland boys' basketball team still found enough energy to beat Box Elder (Utah) 58-37 at home Saturday.

The Rams, playing their seventh game in the last two weeks, took a 29-14 lead into halftime and outscore their Utah opponent in every quarter.

"We didn't play with a lot of excitement," Highland coach Scott Hansen said. "I think we're getting a little fatigued."

Emma Filiaga led the Rams with 16 points, while Kylie Hardison had 10.

Highland (11-0, 2-0 5A District 4, 5, 6) next travels to play Madison, itself unbeaten in conference play, on Tuesday. The Rams' grinding stretch continues when they travel to play Twin Falls on Thursday.
