Grace 51, Greenleaf Academy 37

Grace took a long, circuitous route, but the Grizzlies are headed back to state.

After defeating Greenleaf Friends 51-37 at Mountain Home Saturday afternoon, the Grizzlies advance to play Liberty Charter Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Vallivue High School.

It was tied 10-10 after the opening quarter but the Grizzlies led by eight at the break.

“We had some mometum heading into halftime,” said Grace head coach Rory Lloyd. “And then we had  good third quarter, the kids just found a way. Our goal was to get to Boise.”

Kolton Claddis paced the Grizzlies with 18 and Nels Jensen had 10.
