    After four years leading the American Falls football team, Pat Patterson has moved on.

    Patterson has accepted the head coaching position at Riverton High School in Riverton, Wyo. He will also teach science classes.

    Patterson led the Beavers to an 18-18 record during his four years at the helm. He qualified for the 3A state tournament in 2012.

    “We are sad to see him leave,” American Falls athletic director Travis Hansen in an email.

    The high school has found a replacement for Patterson, as Tyler Shafer will now lead the Beavers.
