FORT HALL - Sho-Ban cruised to a 45-35 home win over Castleford on Tuesday for its fifth straight victory.

Having begun their season three weeks later than most teams, the Chiefs stumbled to a 1-4 start to the season but have now climbed to 6-4. They have a 2-2 conference record.

Samantha Bear powered Sho-Ban's latest victory with 19 points, while Corianna Honena had 11.

"We lost a couple of games earlier just because of fatigue," Sho-Ban coach Everett Moore said. "Now they're starting to get their legs. They're getting in shape to run the offense, and things are starting to go for them."

Sho-Ban next travels to play Hagerman on Friday.
