Bonneville St. in Pocatello, from 6 to 8 p.m. every Thursday, featuring jazz classics from the 1930s in the style of Benny Goodman, with Keith Ward on clarinet/sax, Freddy Gildersleeve on guitar and Tanya Johnson on upright. Admission is free.
Station Square, 200 S. Main St. in Pocatello, hosts open mic night every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.

Friday, May 15“Solo Mio” plays at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 15, at ISU’s Bengal Theater. Admission is $3 for the public, $2 for ISU employees and free for ISU students with a valid Bengal ID.
The annual Chamber Gala is set from 6 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the ICCU Bengal Alumni Center, 1601 E. Bonneville St. in Pocatello. Enjoy a formal night filled with live jazz, a beautifully prepared dinner, a wine pull and a lively dessert dash. It is the perfect chance to dress up, gather with fellow Chamber members and celebrate our business community in style. Tickets are $60 for Chamber members and $70 for non-members.
Saturday, May 16The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday through October at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello.
The Pocatello Model Railroad and Historical Society will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, in the UPRR brick building 59 south of the UPRR depot and just north of the Benton Overpass. There will be trains running in five scales on four layouts, and there are more model trains plus real railroad artifacts on display throughout the building. Admission is free.
The Crafter’s Market takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday inside Station Square, 200 S. Main St., in Historic Downtown Pocatello. Visitors can shop a rotating selection of local vendors offering jewelry, art, home décor, plants and more, with new makers featured each week.
Misfitz, 117 S. Main St. in Pocatello, will host Goth Night starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16.
Sunday, May 17Live horse racing returns to Pocatello Downs, 10588 Fairgrounds Road, at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 17. Judd Erickson and Paige Anne will perform live. Admission is $5, with free entry for children 12 and under.
Monday, May 18Curbside Cravings is open from 4 to 8 p.m. every Monday through September at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello. There will be a variety of food trucks.
The Art of Hoppiness will host paint night at 6 p.m. Monday, May 18, at Jim Dandy Brewing, 305 E. Lander St. in Pocatello. The cost is $35 and includes all the supplies. Register at theartofhoppiness.com/currentclasses.
