Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 30 east of McCammon on Sunday about 10:05 p.m., according to a news release.

The accident happened when Keith A. Delk, 21, of Beach Park, Ill., was driving a 2012 Toyota passenger car in the right hand lane of Highway 30.  Anthony J. Baca, 17, of Pocatello, was driving a 1997 Saturn in the left hand lane of Highway 30. Delk attempted to make an improper left-hand turn from the right hand lane. And the front end of Delk's Toyota struck the passenger side of Baca's Saturn.  

The passengers in Delk's vehicle were Lee R. Klinger, 20, of Evanston, Ill., and Paige I. Bernal, 20, of Round Beach Lake, Ill. The passengers in Baca's vehicle were Anthony J. Baca, 48, of Pocatello, and Raymond L. Baca, 16, of Pocatello. 

All subjects in both vehicles were wearing seatbelts.
