A rollover accident involving a Freightliner truck with a loaded trailer on Interstate 15 north of Idaho Falls resulted in injuries early Monday morning, according to Idaho State Police.

Amandeep Singh, 44, of Calgary, Alberta, was driving south on I-15 around 1:30 a.m. when he drifted off the left side of the roadway and into the median.

Singh overcorrected. The vehicle rolled and came to rest on its side.

Both Singh and his passenger, Baljinder Singh, 64, also of Calgary, Alberta, were transported by ground ambulance to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

ISP say Amandeep was wearing his seat belt but that Baljinder was not as he was  the sleeper area of the cab at the time of the wreck.

Both lanes of southbound traffic on I-15 were open by approximately 9 a.m.
