IDAHO FALLS — Two teenagers are accused of setting fire to playground equipment at Esquire Acres Park off of Grandview Drive.

    The two males, ages 14 and 15, were referred to authorities by their parents.

    According to an Idaho Falls Police Department report, officers were called to the

Esquire Acres Park around 2 a.m. Tuesday for the report of vandalism in progress. The witness who called 9-1-1 observed two individuals damaging sprinkler heads and pouring gasoline onto playground equipment and lighting it on fire.

    The teenagers reportedly left before police arrived but were later located in the area.

    They were referred to juvenile court after being cited with arson and misdemeanor injury to property.
