Drugs with an estimated street value of $130,000 were discovered in a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe around 9 a.m. Tuesday along Interstate-86 near American Falls, according to Idaho State Police.

The driver, Manuel Burnett, 29, of Manhattan, Kansas, and his passenger, Mathew Volkomener, 31, of Great Falls, Mont., were both charged with two counts of felony drug trafficking.

ISP officials indicated the trooper made the discovery during a routine traffic violation stop. During the stop, 11.1 pounds of marijuana and 2.1 pounds of Hashish were seized, along with over $1,500 in cash.

In all, over 13 pounds of illegal drugs were seized from the vehicle, according to ISP.

Burnett and Volkemener were taken to the Power County Jail.
