Swinging for the fence

POCATELLO - Debbie Larkin said Saturday that she played softball this past summer for the first time in about seven years, but she isn't sure she'll play again next summer.

"We were just talking about that," said Larkin. "We'll decide when we get closer to that time."

The reason for Larkin's hesitation is the line drive that hit her in the face a little more than six weeks ago, leaving her with a broken jaw, the loss of two teeth and a severely busted lip.
