Spud cellar charred
Joe Kline/Idaho State Journal Blackfoot firefighters put away hoses after fighting a fire in a cellar just outside of Riverside off Highway 39 on Wednesday afternoon.

RIVERSIDE - A Wednesday fire of undetermined cause destroyed a potato cellar filled with farm equipment on State Highway 39 near Riverside in Bingham County, fire officials said.

The property owner, Winfield Anderson, estimates the damage to the building and the tractors, potato pilers, generators and other equipment inside at between $250,000 and $300,000.
