POCATELLO — A Soda Springs man has been charged with one count of felony injury to a child, according to a Bannock County Sheriff’s Office officials.

    Edgar H. Suarez was taken into custody on Monday around 1:30 p.m.

    Curtis Justin King was also arrested recently. The 21-year-old Pocatello resident is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana.

    Pocatello police have also filed two additional charge in the case where they say a man was stealing mail from mailboxes, only to wash the checks contained inside the envelopes and cash them for his own personal use. Danny Early Matthews, 45, of West Valley, Utah, faces two additional counts of forgery.

    All individuals were taken to the Bannock County Jail.
