POCATELLO — A tractor-trailer struck the bottom of a bridge on Garrett Way Thursday night, causing damage to the trailer, which was too tall to pass beneath the bridge, Pocatello police said.

The accident occurred at 6:45 p.m. and there were no injuries. Firefighters assisted with the removal of debris hanging from the railroad bridge, said Ryan O'Hearn, assistant chief of operations with the Pocatello Fire Department. O'Hearn said firefighters were at the scene for about 20 minute.
