School districts throughout Southeast Idaho plan to hold school board elections May 21. Following are the districts, who the candidates are running and the seats up for election:

    Oneida School District: Zone 2, Steve Haycock and Shelley Allen; Zone 3, Shenell Madsen-Clark, Ken Timothy and David Andersen (I); Zone 5, Lisa Willie, running unopposed, has been returned to her seat.

    Soda Springs School District 150: Zone 1, Dean Brown, Kathy Robinson and write-in, Dan Lau; Zone 3, Justin Lish and Chad Christensen (I); Zone 4, Lynda Lee (I) and Irene Torgesen.

    Aberdeen School District: No elections at this time. Ken Woods (I) did not file; Herb Bohrer (I) continues his four-year term in Zone 1; Ritchey Toeves (I) Zone 4, did not file to run. Mike Shackelford (I) continues in Zone 4.

    Blackfoot School District: Zone 5, Mary Jo Marlow (I). She is being challenged by Lori Kitzmiller. Pete Lipovac, Zone 1, will not run for reelection. Derek Preece, Zone 4, is running unopposed.

    Firth School District:  Casey Park (I), Zone 1, is running unopposed. John Monson (I) did not file. Paul W. Jensen, Zone 4, is running unopposed. April Christensen (I), Zone 5, is running unopposed.

    Shelley Joint School District: Zone 5, Vicki Johnson (I) will be challenged by Sharlene Jolley. Kenneth Kersley (I) is running unopposed.

    Snake River School District: Kent L. Miller (I) is being challenged by Robert Wright and Korden Wray will not run for reelection. Annis Williams, Zone 1, is running unopposed. Steve Reader (I) did not file to run. Kim W. Kunz is running unopposed.

    American Falls School District: Zone 2, Bruce Hauber (I) is unopposed; Zone 4, Susan R. Fletcher (I), unopposed; Zone 5, Dallas M. Clinger (I), unopposed.

    Rockland School District: Zone 3, Catherine Hendrickson (I), unopposed; Zone 4, candidates are Ann M. Medinger and Amy Robinson.

    Arbon Elementary School District: Zone 2, Jason Williams (I), unopposed.

    Bear Lake School District: Candidates are, Zone 2, Beth Tafoya and Angela Grunig.

    West Side School District: Candidates are, Zone 4, Daniel Garne, challenger and Stacey Olsen (I).

    Marsh Valley School District: Candidates are Rick L. Armstrong and Wade Wheatley.

    Voting will take place at general election precincts in each county.
