ROCKLAND — When aliens come to visit Dry Valley, the sheriff Guy Doowright has to learn a few fancy moves in able to thwart the villain, Blacker Bart, and win the heart of the lovely Bea Keaper! Come join in the fun,laughter, and musical entertainment of Aliens and Cowboys!

The Rockland School Foundation will present the 7th annual Dutch Oven Dinner and Melodrama on July 3, 5, and 6. Dinner will be in the R ockland City Park and the show will be at the brick hall across from the park. Dinner will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the play will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The cast are all members of the Rockland Community. The play is written and directed by Faith May. Original music by Janet Turley. Members of the Rockland School Foundation will cook and serve the dinner.

Also, a “Bounce Back” is being offered for $2, come and see the show a second time.

Tickets are $15 for adults for dinner and play, $10 for dinner or play, and kids age 12 and under get dinner and show for $7.50 or chose from the dinner or play for $4. Dinner will include Dutch Oven chicken, potatoes, homemade rolls, cobbler, and root beer. Water, fudge and popcorn will be available for purchase during the show.

The event is being sponsored by the Rockland School Foundation. All profit goes to the Rockland School District and its students.
