The Pocatello Fire Department is sending two reserve units and crews to assist in the wildfires burning in Elmore County (Mountain Home area near Boise). Currently there are two large fires there: the Elk fire and the Pony Complex. The fires have burned 30,000 and 48,000 acres to date. The Pony Complex increased 85 percent in the past 24 hours. Crews will be leaving in the next hour.
