POCATELLO — The Pocatello Community Charter School’s annual music festival is slated to take place at the Stephens Performing Arts Center starting at 6:30 p.m. this Wednesday, April 17.

The celebration of favorite musical songs will include tunes from the Gershwin brothers, The Music Man, Wicked and The Blues Brothers, to name a few. Other highlights include a middle school staging of selections from Les Misérables and choir features from Rent and Oliver.

Also performing Wednesday night are the school’s two choirs and drum group called “Quicksticks.”

This event involves all 300-plus students who attend school at the PCCS. The  closing number will include their family member.

Admission is $3. However, further donations are welcomed as any additional proceeds will go towards maintaining and purchasing classroom instruments and music.
