POCATELLO - Probation and Parole officers with the Idaho Department of Correction want to take some of the scariness out of Halloween this year.
Cliff Cummings and John Warner, with the help of other Probation and Parole officers and local law enforcement, will be on the streets Oct. 31, monitoring registered sex offenders in the community as part of Operation Lights Out.
Cummings and Warner, who each oversee approximately 48 registered sex offenders, have made it clear to their charges that they will not participate in any aspect of Halloween.
