POCATELLO — Gateway Habitat for Humanity is hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. to raise funds to provide a single mother of four children with a new home. 

The breakfast will be hosted at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building, 300 N. Johnson Ave. Admission will be $8 per person and free for children 5 and under. 

Furthermore, Katie Counts, manager of the Gateway Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 345 S. Second Ave., will be working the breakfast for "tips," which will also be donated to the cause. 

It will be an all-you-can-eat breakfast including pancakes, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, coffee and orange juice.

The home will be constructed in the 200 block of Randolph Avenue in Pocatello. Counts said a volunteer build group will provide free labor, and the organization hopes to break ground on the home this summer.
