CHUBBUCK — The Palace Theatre is set to start its production of the story of the flying nanny from the well-known Disney movie.

Jenna Davies, one of the owners of The Palace Theatre, said the performances of “Mary Poppins” will start on Thursday, April 3, and will end on Saturday, May 3. The theater is located at 158 E. Chubbuck Road.

“We have a fantastic cast and production crew putting together a magical show,” Davies said.

Davies said she is excited for the community to see the classic story come to life on the stage. She said it will be familiar to people who already know the “Mary Poppins” story, but those who don’t know the story will enjoy it too.

“I am excited to bring that story back to the community and give it flavor and make it fun and vibrant for families to watch,” Davies said.

It was a great experience to work with the talented cast and crew to put this production together, Davies said.

“It was put together by individuals in the community,” Davies said. “It was all local talent. I love working with them.”

Tickets for “Mary Poppins” can be purchased at The Palace Theatre’s website, https://www.palacetheatrearts.com. There will be 19 total performances of the show. Some performances are a dinner and a show while others are just the show.

“Tickets are available now,” Davies said. “We invite the community to come out and watch.”
