Out of the Darkness
Doug Lindley/Idaho State Journal Margaret Brown knows to well the grief of a loved one ending his life. She has lost two sons and a brother to suicide. To help with the grief of her two sons lost in the photos she holds, she went to a suicide support group that helped her immensely.

POCATELLO - Margaret Brown well knows the darkness of grief.

She became acquainted with it when her brother took his life in 1991. The predominant emotion Brown felt was anger, as her brother also took his wife's life when he chose to end his own. In 1996, the blackness crashed down upon her once more when her 31-year-old son, Charles "Chuck" Brown, committed suicide in Utah. He left a wife and three children.
