On June 17 at approximately 9:04 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 91 near the intersection of Reservation Road, north of Chubbuck.  

A 1994 Chevrolet Pickup, driven by Olivia Yokoyama, age 21 of Blackfoot, was headed northbound on U.S. 91, when her vehicle was struck by a 1996 GMC Jimmy, driven by Tyrone Diaz, age 42 of Chubbuck.  Diaz fled the scene of the crash and was apprehended a short time later in Chubbuck.  

No injuries were reported in the crash.  The roadway was blocked for approximately two hours, while officers investigated the crash.
