Old Bistro gives way to new
Joe Kline / Idaho State Journal Bryan Brown picks up torn flooring in the kitchen of the old Bistro on Main Street on Saturday in Pocatello. Janet Winter recently took over the space and plans to open a renovated J. Anna's Bistro by early December.

POCATELLO - Janet Winter, who has owned and operated the cellar saloon The Dugout in Old Town for 14 years and recently opened a restaurant called the Home Plate above it, has taken over the former Continental Bistro location, which will house both of her businesses.

Winter said the new restaurant, J. Anna's Bistro, will feature some of her Home Plate customer's favorite dishes, but will also include an expanded menu with some international options.
