Idaho Falls Police arrested two Nampa residents for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver early Thursday morning at the Motel 6.

Kyle Dean Hartwig, 22, and Donna M. Gillespie, 20, were both booked into the Bonneville County Jail for two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

According to reports, officers responded to the Motel 6 on West Broadway round 11:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a strong smell of marijuana coming from one of the rooms.

Officers came into contact with Hartwig and Gillespie. During their contact with the two individuals, police determined that they were in possession of illegal drugs.

Officers found 26 grams of methamphetamine, a bag of marijuana and an electric scale in their room.
