Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle rollover that injured one person on Interstate 15 near Hamer on Saturday at 11:09 a.m., according to a news release.

The accident happened when Cody Mitchell, 22, of Mountain Home, was driving a 2008 Mazda 3 north in the left lane of I-15. He drifted into the right lane. Then Mitchell overcorrected and skidded into the median, where the vehicle rolled once and came to rest on its wheels.  

Mitchell was transported by ground ambulance to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Mitchell was wearing his seat belt.
