Smith

IDAHO FALLS — Jonathon Smith, 18, of Idaho Falls, was arrested Monday and charged with burglary after police say the mention of a theft came up during a domestic argument.

According to the police report, the disturbance occurred in the 1800 block of East 16th Street around 10:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers indicated that Smith and his ex-girlfriend were arguing and that Smith was trying to retrieve his belongings, which included a snowboard.

During the investigation, police determined the snowboard was stolen from the back of a pick-up truck in the 2600 block of Limerick Circle in December of 2012.

Idaho Falls Police Department officials further indicated that Smith also had a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken to the Bonneville County Jail.
