IDAHO FALLS — An Idaho Falls woman was arrested and charged with felony driving under the influence of alcohol Wednesday after police say she struck a bicyclist and two vehicles.
According to Idaho Falls Police Department officials, the bicyclist was treated for minor injuries after Jennifer Hunter, 46, drove onto the sidewalk and hit the 21-year-old. It was also reported that Hunter rear-ended a Toyota Corolla near A Street and Yellowstone Avenue earlier in the day.
The initial call came into dispatch around 12:15 p.m.
At the scene of the bicycle-related accident, witnesses told police that Hunter, who was driving a 1998 Buick Park Avenue, attempted to make a left turn onto Yellowstone Avenue at Broadway Street when she hit the bicyclist. It is said that Hunter got back onto the roadway and side-swiped a Ford Escape.
The woman was taken to the Bonneville County Jail.

Only two ways to fix this. Get rid of all alcohol or get rid of all drunk drivers. Neither are possible. I hope I'm not next.
