Idaho Falls Police are investigating two burglaries that occurred early Sunday morning at businesses in the 700 block of South Woodruff and the 1800 block of East First Street.

The suspect is believed to be the same individual in both crimes.

According to reports, officers responded to an alarm at Dr. Jason M. Peterson’s officer, located at 1890 E. First St., around 5 a.m. The unknown suspect broke into the building through a window. The suspect left prior to police arrival taking a small amount of cash.

Around 5:55 a.m., police were dispatched to an alarm at Idaho Urgent Care, located at 740 S. Woodruff Ave. The suspect broke a window and gained entry into the building. It was reported that the suspect stole a laptop computer.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact the IFPD at 529-1200 or Crimestoppers at 522-1983.
