IDAHO FALLS — Five police officers were presented with pins that represent the number of years they have worked for the Idaho Falls Police Department

IFPD Lt. Kay Edward received a pin in honor of his 40-year career.

Outgoing Chief Steve Roos and Capt. Royce Clements have been with the department for 30 years.

In addition, Capt. Darren Cook and Officer Doug Christensen reached the 25-year mark in their careers.

“Congratulations to these officers,” said IFPD Spokesperson Joelyn Hansen. “Their dedication and service to the department is greatly appreciated.”

The men received the pins at a recent city council meeting.
