Old Town Pocatello will host the monthly First Friday Art Walk this Friday from 5-8pm.  Be sure to stroll through all three areas that will feature beautiful art, live music, fashion, great food and plenty of friends and good company!

Historic Warehouse District

Don Aslett Museum of Clean, 715 S. 2nd, new to patrons of Art Walk, will feature sculptures on the Value of Clean. The creative works of Father (Larry Aslett) and daughter (Sandy Aslett Stone) are on display. Their unique cleaning creations will educate and bring a smile to the faces of our lucky visitors who will be hosted that evening by Museum founder Don Aslett, and receive a free Stain Removal chart.

Portneuf Valley Brewing, 615 S. 1st, will feature artist  Kenn Belanger, showcasing his unique summer-themed oil paintings. Music that evening will be provided by blues/rock ensemble Category 3.

Eastside Old Town

Ideal, 130 N. 2nd, will feature Jake Kratochvil from Sons of Bannock playing live.

East Idaho Home Interiors, 237 E. Center, will feature Karla Rigby with vintage & shabby chic'd furniture.  Play a scavenger hunt throughout the store to find Karla's pieces. Prizes for the winners!

Westside Old Town

The Shady Lady, 655 N. Arthur, will be hosting Ron Lewis and his current, in progress Major League Baseball painting consisting of 40 players & celebrities. Take Me Out To The Ball Game, The Sweet Art from The Boys of Summer Exhibit of vintage baseball items.  Catering by the Popcorn Shop.

Enchantments, 537 N. Main, will host henna tattoo artist Madisen Hillebrant.

Muse, 501 N. Main, will host a fashion show at 6:30 pm featuring Back to School Fashions!  Melissa Nielson, a jazz and contemporary vocalist, will be the guest entertainer as well as emcee the fashion show. Make up and hair by DAJA SPA, Maja McKnight, a licensed massage therapist, of Naturally Relaxed located in DAJA SPA will be offering free 5 minute chair massages.

Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main, will be hosting the Porcelain Artists of SE Idaho with an annual show, an exhibit of work from the Summer Children's Art Classes in the back classroom and exhibits painted from photographs.

American Family Insurance Danielle B. Cooley Agency, 427 N, Main Ste A, will be showing paintings and sculptures by Jared Taylor. 

Mustard Seed Dreams, 326 N. Main, will feature Teresa Rosalie Roberts will have her bird pictures and handmade jewelry on display.  She uses digital art on her pictures and cards.

East Fork Bikes, 346 N. Main, will host Thomas Prudhomme’s abstract acrylic on canvas.

Trinity Episcopal Church, corner of N. Arthur and Lander, will be featuring performances of Dawn Fitzpatrick's music students. The featured vocalists will be Caitlyn Callaghan, Paige Shouse, Miren Gabiola and Connor Fitzpatrick. They will be performing various songs throughout the three hours.  Some will be a cappella, some will have a taped accompaniment, and others will be accompanied by Dawn Fitzpatrick on piano or Sydney McRoberts on guitar.

Main Street Coffee & All Under One Roof, 234 N. Main, come preview the new LGBT Center and the new face of Main Street Coffee.  View the work of Impecunious Art and enjoy live music by Sherrod Parkhouse.

Old Town Merchantile and Antiques, 139 N. Main, will host Craig Worth featuring his Digital Archival Art.

La Bella Vita, 127 N. Main, will be showing styles by the LBV staff and showcasing David their massage therapist with complimentary chair massages.  Tours of the spa will be given from 5:30-7:30.

The New Dawn Gallery, 123 N. Main, will show the paintings of Daniel Jared Sorensen.  Mr. Sorensen will be giving a two-day workshop, painting traditional portraits in oils, September 14 and 15 in the gallery.

Comfort Keepers, 123 N. Main, will feature jewelry and wire wrapping by Edith and Mike Vondall. 

Larraine’s at The Paris, 100 N. Main, will welcome regional artists.

Myers Anderson Architects, 101 N. Main, will be featuring Ben Ledford, with his architectural renderings on display.

Art Supply of Pocatello, 312 W. Center, will present the cartoons and artwork of Bob Beason.  Bob will be showing some of his most recent artwork.  

Gate City Fine Arts Gallery, 315 W. Center, will feature Carol Myers.

Mind Your Own Beadness, 130 S. Main, will present Robert Linton on guitar and artists Walter Kindle and Maggie Millward.  Joey Henson will show his newest creations.  Laura Zuber will show her new fabulous Wind Chime Wine Bottles and new silver items.  

Cynthia Louise Boutique, 122 S. Main, will feature three great artists, Misty King an amazing detailed portrait artist, Stephanie Eggett’s Western Transitions from animal bones and William Niederhofer’s handmade western leather bags.

The Orange and Black Store, 123 S. Main, will host multi-media artist Lisa Cameron and live music by Jareth X Sampson & Wynn Murphy. 

Bill Burke’s House of Photography, 159 S. Main, will be showcasing their 36 years of Portrait, Fine Art and Commercial Photography. They will be joined by Texas Roadhouse who will be serving samples of their most popular menu items

Mind Your Body, 234 S. Main, will feature hand painted greeting cards by Dorothy.  They will have special dance and yoga demonstrations by summer dance camp elementary children and massage & pilates class raffles to celebrate 6 years in business.

Pocatello Magazine, 250 S. Main, will feature Arlyn McCullough.

End your First Friday evening with movie night at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main.  Concessions open at 8pm, cartoons at 9pm and the original “Back To The Future” at 9:30pm.  Bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy a movie under the stars, all to help ReLight The Night and save our neon signs.
