POCATELLO - The search for a missing Idaho Transportation Department employee entered its third day Thursday with additional Civil Air Patrol planes taking part and expanding their search area, but no signs of the man were reported.
Eric Elle, 60, of Pocatello, a state motor vehicle investigator, was last seen at 7:30 a.m. Monday. Two cell phone calls made around 2:20 p.m. indicate Elle was near the I-86/I-84 interchange east of Burley, which has been the hub of the search efforts.
