CHUBBUCK — Authorities have no plans to release the name of a 60-year-old homeless man who was rushed to Portneuf Medical Center Wednesday morning after he was found unresponsive outside the McDonald's near Walmart.

Members of the media must provide a first and last name in order to request and receive health status updates from hospital officials.

According to Chubbuck Police Department officers, the homeless man tripped over a curb in the area of the parking lot and struck his head on a large rock.

A Walmart patron called 911 when he made the discovery around 10 a.m. First responders were able to resuscitate the man shortly after the fall.
