Cable ONE announced Friday that it reached a multiyear agreement with AMC Networks to continue carrying its channels.

    Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

    “We are very pleased to have reached a fair and equitable agreement with AMC Networks while avoiding service interruption to our customers,” said Cable ONE President and CEO Tom Might in a press release. “Our goal is always to provide our customers and their families with the best TV programming at a reasonable price.

    “We believe we’ve accomplished that in these very difficult negotiations. We want to thank our loyal customers for their patience as we successfully negotiated on their behalf.”

    AMC Networks owns several cable channels including AMC, which is home to many acclaimed and popular TV shows including “The Walking Dead,” “Breaking Bad,” and “Mad Men.”

    The company had been in a fight with the cable company, which serves 730,000 customers in 19 states in the Midwest, South and West, including Idaho, over license fees for several months.
