Two high school reunion events are coming up in the Southeast Idaho area soon and alumni are invited to attend.

The first one will be for the Pocatello High School class of 1993, scheduled July 19 and 20 for their 20-year reunion. There will be a meet and greet July 19 at Portneuf Brewery, 615 S. First Ave. The next day, on July 20 there will be a 5K run, with the painting of the rock at the school, 325 N. Arthur Ave. At 10 a.m. there will be tours at the school.

A Family Day for Pocatello High alumni will be held Saturday at the Ross Park swimming pool from noon to 4 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel, 1555 Pocatello Creek Road.

It is requested if you wish to attend the dinner, RSVP before July 15 at pocatellohighschoolclassof93@gmail.com. For more information, the class website is https://sites.google/com/a/oatsfamily.org/poky-high-class-of-1993/home.

Coming up Aug. 2 and 3 will be Blackfoot High School’s class of 1983, their 30-year class reunion.

On Aug. 2 from 3 to 9 p.m., there will be a get-together at Jensen Grove in Blackfoot. This is a BYO everything event. Grills will be provided if you wish to barbecue, but it is requested you bring your own utensils, plates, beverages and a dish to share.

There will be many family activities at Jensen Grove including a skate park, Frisbee golf, walking and biking path, boating and enjoying the “beach.”

Aug. 3 there will be a tour of Blackfoot High at noon and later that evening dinner will be at the Sho-Ban Event Center off I-15 in Fort Hall. This will be a buffet dinner with prime rib or chicken at $30 per person. If you wish to attend the dinner, send your checks to Kay Powell, 555 Gardner Drive, Blackfoot, Idaho 83221.

If you are coming from out of town there will be a block of 10 rooms set aside for those who wish to stay. The cost is $89.

If you can, send pictures for a slide show. These can be old, new or whatever you wish to include. E-mail the pictures to Angie (Jones) Palmer at angiep32003@yahoo.com.

For anyone who is not on the event list or who would like to come to the reunion, send information by Facebook to Christine Collaer-Muzzo or e-mail her at christineIdaho@gmail.com.
