Juan Gonzalez-Gonzalez

IDAHO FALLS — A Blackfoot man was arrested Sunday and charged with

aggravated assault after police say he pointed a gun at two people.

According to the Idaho Falls Police report, officers were called to the 400 block of South Boulevard around 5 p.m. There, the alleged victims told authorities that Juan Gonzalez-Gonzalez arrived at the residence and demanded to speak to his estranged wife.

The 31-year-old reportedly then pulled out a gun and waved it at his estranged wife and another individual.

Gonzalez-Gonzalez left prior to officers’ arrival. However, he was stopped on Interstate-15 by an Idaho State Police trooper.

The accused was taken to the Bonneville County Jail.
