    July 25, 1987: The Poky China Painters, meeting at the Bonneville Center for brunch, installed officers. They are Dorothy Chatterton, president, Roberta Grimes, secretary, Gertie Price, vice president and Darline Blair, treasurer.

    50 years ago

    July 25, 1962: Pocatello became the largest city in Idaho at 9 p.m. In a brief and very official ceremony seven men took the oath of office as city commissioners. This was the final act consolidating Pocatello and Alameda.
